in fact be committing to Auburn next week. After a lot of running in circles today, and talking with the Auburn publisher, we went through several variations of things that various media members have been told.
After all off this happened, Jefferey Lee, publisher of AuburnSports.com got a quote from Michael Dyer saying he is not going to Tennessee this weekend on a visit.
He got that quote after Dyer's coach told him that if he did not take the visit, they would knock out the commitment next week when Dyer announces he will play in the Under Armor bowl game.
Also, according to Lee, Dyer has informed the Auburn coaching staff, Coach Gus Malzahn to be exact, of his intentions to go public with his commitment on November 6th.

Lots of different things going on here. Who knows what's really going on with Michael. Sounds pointless to commit when you say recruiting is still open...
It is going to be interesting to say the least. I am hearing some of the Tennessee chatter as well.

Tennessee fans feel real confident all the sudden. The thing that's got me wondering is why Arkansas hasn't went hard after another RB if Dyer is really a done deal to go out of state. I know they have other offers out there but they aren't going after them hard and i doubt they would even accept an offer from a RB other than Dyer right now. They must feel alot better about their chances than we do.
I know they are hard after Seastrunk as well. Talked to a friend of mine who is from Lance's area who spoke with a Tennessee coach about him. They are going all out after him as well.
